Can I glue some soles to my sidi winter road shoes?
I use an SPD cleat and I do a bit of walking and standing. I use mountain bike shoes for my summer riding, but I have the Sidi road winter shoe.
Can I bolt or glue a sole onto this shoe? To create a flat area to stand on and to add a recessed location for the cleat?
I'm asking in this forum because they are road shoes.
I am not concerned about the flex. The most walking I will do is into a store or up to the office.

These work. They add about 5mm stack height and I wouldn't want to walk far but...

You might have some luck visiting an experienced cobbler/resoler. For example; https://www.davepagecobbler.com/
He does a lot of work with rock climbing shoes, hiking/mountaineering boots, and ski touring boots, but he might have some ideas.
