Glad you posted this... sight set on 2.0's over the zipp 101's I was contemplating. Now I can spend the 800.00 difference on carbon bars, garmin gps, and a new kit.

Without a strong field of reference, I can't really offer a very valid argument over other wheels in this class, but I love my 2.0s. They're about a pound and half lighter than my Shimano r500s which came with my bike. After 4000 miles, they're still rolling true. I did have to send them back to Sean after I managed to crush the bearings in the rear hub. Sean had them back to me in 3 1/2 weeks, completely rebuilt and free of charge.

Soul wheels are solid. I raced the 4.0's for a while and then sold them to a friend who was breaking spokes on his easton wheels (I think he's like 170-180 lbs and is strong as heck). He's had no issues with the wheels feeling flexy or anything. He loves them.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set of wheels from soul.

I am selling a brand new pair of Soul S2.0Max, its so new that it is still with Sean at Soul and i have yet to collected it from him. Comes with Custom grey decals, could sell it to you slightly cheaper if you are keen, not really much though. You save on the waiting time as it is already ready for collection

email from Sean reveals that the low pro 2.0 are not advisable for my 170lb weight and the type or riding and paths that i frequent maybe the 2.0 max or 3.0 might be a better choice
on the other hand PSIMET got back to me with an exact wheel set
up that would pretty much work for me in the conditions that i specified to him, pruce is great but the weight is a tad over the 1400g mark
i also have a local guy i have to go see and maybe he can also run a few other options for me before i can truly decide which direction im going
thanks for the input everyone and if you guys/gals have more to share and discuss please feel free im all ears

I did some research on SOUL wheels not too long ago, I haven't heard anything bad regarding them. I wish the 3.0 had grey stickers

When I asked Sean he said grey decals were an option. Email him if you want to check. I wanted all white decals which aren't available as my bike is entirely monochromatic apart from the wheels, and I'd like everything to be black or white. I might de-sticker them when they come but I haven't decided yet.
