Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm currently using the look Keo 2 Max. They replaced a pair of time iclic's that I broke during a fall. The Keo's haven't given me any problems so far.

The iclic's are extremely easy to clip in and out of. Easier than any other road pedal I have used. If you do any walking in them the cleats will wear out pretty fast. If the cleats were more durable I might have bought another pair. Other than the cleats I really liked them.

I have no personal experience with the other choices.

If you grease speedplay properly they dont need to be clean, I regularly walk across a gravel car park in mine and dont feel a hint of grinding. When i first got them i kept then super clean and could feel every last bit of grit.

Get another set of Keo Max.... I really like my current set on my P2C. Actually, all my Looks over the years have been bombproof.

BTW - how the hell did one break?

Yesterday I stepped in mud with my speedplay cleats and they still rode just fine. I had to disassemble everything when I got home to give it a good cleaning, but it didn't seem to affect my ride at all.
