I'm trying a Fizik Donna right now and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I did 50 miles today but stopped to adjust the position a few times. The back part feels great, but I can't get comfortable riding in the drops with it. I'm switching from a Specialized Phenom that.... ahem.... rubbed the wrong way. The Fizik seemed better about that today, but it's still noticeable.
Has anyone else tried the Versus saddles? Does anyone like them?
Also, do the Ariones get more flexy after a certain period of time? This is basically a women's Arione Versus, so it has the wing flex, but it's a little shorter and wider in the back.

I have had the weirdest experience with a fizik aliante VS. Bought in feb or so have used it for over 1,000 miles and the day I do my first century I can not stand it anymore, as soon as I sit on it it hurts. My previous longest ride before the century was 70 miles. I have switched to a specialized romin and it works for now.

Sorry, don't have firsthand experience with the Versus models. I've been using an Arione on my main ride for over two seasons though, and I think it's the best saddle I've ever used. The flex wings really work. If you like the Arione design but would like it better with the love channel, then by all means try it. The Arione needs about a hundred miles to break in, though.

The Aliante is good if you like the scooped profile but maybe find a San Marco Concor too narrow. And the Antares might work if you sit towards the front of the saddle. I'd like it better with flex wings caressing my delicate arse.

Ok, got 300 road miles on the Antares Versus after having put about 1.5K on the regular carbon braided Antares. First, it feels heavy but it definitely relieves pressure especially when I'm on the nose but in some paceline situations, where I'm pedaling nearly 100% of the time, I'll still feel the center. I tried it on my TT frame and found that the nose actually feels long. I'd like a Versus Ares. On a century I think the effect would be a wash between the Versus and the regular saddle. But on 50 mile group rides where I get some relief it's great. GL

I recently (500 miles) replaced my saddle with an antares. It fits me like a glove and is quite comfortable for the long rides. I agree w/kleinboogie, the nose could be just a touch shorter or curled downward a hair.

I have the Aliante Versus saddle and have put many miles on it. I liked it so much that I got two more for my other bikes. The grove down the center really does decrease pressure on the perineum.

I run the Versus Arione on my race bike. LOVE it!! So far it hasn't gotten any more flexy than when I first put it on, but I've only got about 600 miles on it. I really don't see it breaking down any time soon though. I plan on getting two more as cash flow allows for my other road bikes.

My arione has not softened up over time. I haven't tried the VS model, but haven't had any perineal issues either. I use a bubble level to adjust the tilt on the saddle, and find that generally speaking, nose-up decreases pressure on the ischial tuberosities (sit bones), and nose-down decreases pressure on the perineum (taint, gooch, etc), particularly when in the drops.
