Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hi !

I plan to change my spokes to stainless steel.
I would really appreciate if anyone could give me the exact length of the spokes required for the 700c wheel of the Trek 7.1 fx. 2010. and is it the standard 14 gauge

Your spokes are already stainless steel odds are.

Have you built a wheel before? There's more to it than just "swapping spokes".

No unfortunately they aren't stainless steel only plain Ms. I have tried with the magnet and it sticks. The magnet does not stick to stainless steel.
I would be having a professional do the job ( wheel building).
Shipping wheels would be really expensive, practically 60 % of the price of the bike.
