Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Repair Question Carbon frame

Hello ,

I put on my rear wheel yesterday and I noticed the paint flacking off the rear dropout. I dont think it is carbon as it has an alloy look. Is that normal ?
Also there is a chip in the paintwork on the top tube , 1.5 cm in diameter. Cant see the carbon, its just cosmetic. Any ideas ?

I have carbon dropouts and the paint is flaking on them. Doesn't seem to have messed up my bike, Also you probably dont want to see the cosmetic damage I have on some sections of my bike:

Ride more, worry less. Your bike is fin (So says a random guy from the interwebs)
