Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New '11 Focus Culebro

I've finally joined the modern bike world. I have three '80's steel Italian steeds and a '98 Raleigh R-700 alu bike. Went to Perf Bike yesterday to pick up some odds and ends during the holiday sale and walked out with this. Price was $1199, almost 50% off. Full Ultegra, FSA crankset, DT Swiss R-1900 wheelset, ect. Went on a short ride before it got dark and the alu frame soaked up the road surprisingly well. The 50/34 will be gone soon but otherwise it's perfect for me. They had a couple of 105 carbon bikes in the same price range but this one called my name. Didn't see this model posted on here so thought I'd share!
