Professional Fuss-Budget
1) I'm fairly confident that for a lot of people, a basic bike fit will work very well for them.
2) I'm very confident that if you run into problems, you need a real fit. Not "lookit my pictures on the Internets." A real human being, who knows what to look for, and can observe your pedal stroke and adjust your position.
3) I'm highly confident that "Kristophe de Timze" does not exist, and was made up by the guy who wrote the article.
By the way, check the date of the article. April 1, 2010.
I.e. you've been had. Don't feel too bad, just enough not to fall for it again.

Update: Before you read on I should warn you to take a close look at the date before you take this too seriously.
