Looking for a used bike in Brooklyn
I'm new to biking. Rented a hybrid the other day and had a blast so looking to buy an inexpensive bike on craigslist. Maybe in the $250 range as I will not use it too often.
I will be riding it in Brooklyn and Manhattan
I really have no idea what I'm doing but I have heard that the best way of going about this is through Craigslist.
Anyone see any good bikes on there they can point me in the right direction of
Thanks

Thanks for the offer but I'm just gonna be riding it around leisurely twice a week so don't need anything serious.
Anyone out there want to take a quick look for me on criagslist and list a few good ones on there.
I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Aren't you required to ride a fixie if you live in Brooklyn? Or be one of those Tour De France wannabees doing loops in Prospect Park?
Craigslist is definitely your best option. Riding season is almost over, so hopefully there will be deals to be had.

I find the premise of looking for advice on a cheap bike in Brooklyn just stupid. Seriously, just take a look around the place. Or better yet lift one of those stupid wrecks of a bike off a pole in Willamsburg and fix it.
