Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

When i viewed a new frameset, i had Time Fluidity as a candidate. I contacted Time for stack and reach, when finally i got those numbers it seemed they were lower in stack and longer in reach than i had figured. So i did not dare to order a frame. The frames that i looked at was Bianchi CV Infinito, Time Fluidity, Scott Solace, Specialized Roubaix, Cannondale Synapse (-14), Pinarello Dogma, Parlee, Guru Photon, Calfee Manta, Argonaut etc etc. As pointed out, a few was very expensive. Also warranty is of value when it come down to such expensive frames. My prio was a frame of best possible fit, comfort and vibration damping properties. It's quite obvious that i ended up buying none of the mentioned framesets. I am still curious. Money is ofcourse always the kill switch. I guess it's up to me how to determine what i am willing to pay (for those who find reason to nag)

Time make some of the best frames around, and they make them in France. If the fit is right for you, the only drawback is the price.

My main bike is a Colnago EPS, but I have a Time Edge RS Translink as my second/backup bike. I got both at Maestro in the UK. The Time was some sort of leftover/clearance situation, and I got the frame for $1200 while waiting for the Colnago to arrive. The feel and riding style of the two bikes is different by design, but the quality of the low-end Time just as good as the high-end Colnago.
