Gore Bike Wear
Reading through a lot of threads like "What clothes to buy" and never see anyone mention Gore. I know they are not Rapha or Assos prestige wise, or Pearl Izumi popularity wise, but I never see them mentioned at all. I have 3 of their jerseys and some bibs (haven't worn yet) that I like. And since I can generally get them at a good price I usually buy them. Does anybody else wear this brand?

I have 3 pair of their bibs. For the price their Power bibs are my go to. I also have a race fit jacket that I love. Don't care for the fit or the cuff they put on the sleeves of the jerseys. Likely just my build though.

I have a Windstopper fabric jacket that I really like a lot. Used it for sport rides all winter. Depending what you wear under it and how you vent it it has a very broad temperature range. I didn't use it as a rain jacket per se (more like insurance) but when I did get caught out it worked fine there, too.

I have NEVER regretted a Gore purchase. In my experience, their products perform and last better than any comparably priced competitors.
RIE carries a pretty good selection of Gore products, but not the best pricing, even when you consider the rebate.

I have a long-sleeve jersey. The cuffs are so tight it's a struggle just to get my hands through. Other than that, I like the jersey; I just wish the cuffs were a little bit bigger.
I also have some Gore leg warmers that I like just fine. I also picked up a pair of winter shoe covers on sale, but I haven't tried them yet - maybe next year if my PIs wear out (or I get tired of the Velcro closure on them).

I've been rotating through 3 pair of Xenon bibs for 3 years now with excellent fit and durability. The chamois is also very low profile which is a big plus for me. I also have a Xenon bib tight and a Xenon winter jacket. All great stuff, IMO. I have one Gore winter jersey that I'm not overly crazy about, but their Xenon-grade material is great.
