Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

entry level carbon fork endurance bike?

I want an endurance bike that's affordable with a carbon fork. I'd love upgraded gears / pedals, but i guess that can wait, because I don't want to spend a ton of money. I'd like to find this bike for between 1000-1300.

Won't go wrong with either of these -- Tiagra or 105:

Anything with a carbon fork between $1000-1400, and I'll test ride them all.

With that price range, most of the bikes you find will have a carbon fork.

I bought an alloy synapse in 2013 that came with a carbon fork and tiagra 4600. That was about $1100
