Casually Deliberate
I have been on the phone with CenturyLink for one hour, ten minutes so far rearranging my mom's bundle of services. I wonder if the CS rep is handling other calls at the same time as this one. My mom is lucky to have a child willing to do this.

Heathy, sorry about that awful day.
Solid, valid, probing questions in my point of view.

I am hoping the dog has lymphoma, because she would probably respond to chemo or radiation quite well. For awhile anyway.

The whole process is made more interesting/challenging because Mom is not really a technophobe but she isn't familiar with how things work so she doesn't understand them and that leads to statements like "I think I'm going to cancel Netflix and just watch it on my Kindle" or Do I have to have WiFi and internet?"

WARNING: BICYCLE RELATED CONTENT
OK, so I have to figure out what to do with the SS front wheel. Post trauma, it is out of true in one band, 45° long, probably 0.075-0.100". I don't know if this means bent, or just out of true. So the options are, as I see them (wheel is Velocity fusion rim, Velocity race hub, 2/1.8/2 spokes can't remember if DT or Sapim, 24 spoke 2 cross):
1. Just true as a normally would, working in bad area only.
2. Untension all spokes, and bring back up to snuff as I would a new build.
3. Buy cx-ray spokes and replace. Calculators give spoke length of 290.3, so I assume I look for 289 or 290.
4. Assume rim "has issues" and build up American Classics micro, cx-rays, Pacenti rim for ultimate aluminium aero wheel (for a fat guy).
Why say you, Addiction?

Still kicking.
Might be able to bring it back, .075-.1 isn't that big.
Edit if the wheel has alot of miles on it, it will be better off to get a new wheel.

Run the tension meter around the spokes. Likely the spokes are slightly stretched, but I would first see what it takes to true it up. If it is minimal, run it. Then, once in good shape, proceed down to number 4. It's always good to have a spare.

It's funny in that the number isn't big, but it is abrupt in how it starts and ends, and straight in the middle. Not a ton of miles on the wheel, maybe 3-3,500.
