The thickness averaged probably between 1/16" and 1/8". The insides of the tubes were circular, but the outsides were slightly elliptical, so the thickness was not quite uniform around the tube.

Yep, the stops are epoxied on, but the brakes have cable housing all the way to them. The rear derailluer has real cable stops, but there is not too much force on them, so I have not had any problems.

I gave it about an inch on the chainstays, including the lug. If I had done any more than that I would have had to cut slightly wider diameter bamboo, which would have cut down on wheel clearance.
