I don't know for sure if the Cat 1 is a Performance shoe. I searched for a web site for them and couldn't find anything. As far as the width is concerned, I have a wide foot and they fit me fine. :o

Thanks for the reply. I purchased them yesterday. Tried them on and they felt okay. Will know for sure after using them this week. Have not seen them carried at any of the other on-line bike shops....
