Wow. I'm surprised they didn't sandbag the fence supports to start with, wind or no wind. Without any actual in-ground supports, those fences aren't stable at all.

Yeah, the Back Bay route in Newport is a great ride. When I used to work in the research park across from UCI, we'd ride from there to the pier.

The Pacific Electric Trail

The current planned entrances are where the trail crosses each major street. For example at Etiwanda Ave, Day Creek, Haven, etc.

They only released the job to bidding, and hopefully should start...
