Oops... have found another option for the 40t question, Hope do a T-Rex ring, but all these aftermarket options are very expensive, wonder if the OP will come back?

First, better get the time machine out, and set to 2016, as no XT 11-40 will be available till then, then it will be 11 speed, and not compatible with your current SRAM gears.
