I can confirm the shoulder was generally better on the southbound side, and many places had been ground smooth.

I just rode from SFO through Big Sur starting...

I just rode from SFO through Big Sur starting December 17th. Couldn't have asked for more perfect riding weather in the 50s and 60s with light to moderate tailwinds, although it did get a bit nippy...
