^ I've ridden that once . . . it was pretty flat and the traffic was indeed quite light. I thought it would be longer, but it's only about a 3-mile difference from taking 99W.

I've ridden 99W between Corvallis and McMinnville; that section's not bad. If you can start out west of Portland, 47's pretty low-traffic compared to the northern section of 99W.
