Currently happy with 3, with the 2 speed crank, I use the same 3 twice, once again, in low range. total = 6 [ Folding, Brompton]

Rohloff is tidier using 7 speeds twice , all in the Hub.....

OR, Maybe theres a way to build another NuVinci into a jackshaft or a crankset .
