I suppose you could weld metal crates to a rack but I don't know what would be gained over sufficient bungee cords, zip ties and /or hose clamps.

I did not remove the reflectors when I added the Tower of Power. I guess the lights on the pole and basket blinded you and therefore you didn't notice them. :foo:

The strength/sturdiness of the rear carrier is the limiting factor for carrying stuff in a basket, IMO. Imaginative use of bungee cords and zip ties can make up for deficiencies in basket dimensions...
