Do all the prewar Dawes catalog 1935 to 1940...

Do all the prewar Dawes catalog 1935 to 1940 spec. the tandems with Williams cranks? Or did they change at some point?(or just stop saying built with Williams cranks) Tandems don't change greatly...

Your cyclo shifter is the same as on my russ tandem.
Did you also look at the chain rings for a stamp? You might still have Williams rings used on nicklin crank arms.

Hi,your tandem is indeed a pre-war bike. I can tell by the cyclo derailleur.They changed the cut-out a bit after WW2.
The chain rings and crank arms should be Williams, and have a stamp on the back...
