using a front brake is simple, training yourself to use it...

i used to ride motorcycles, specificly track ready liter bikes. I used the rear and front brake in combination till weight transfer took place and applied more front and less rear. its not difficult....

baah, i commute about 8 miles each way to work...

baah, i commute about 8 miles each way to work and can survive without water but it isnt pleasant and yes scrod not all of you are in this hell hole of a desert :(

id say try a drop bar that is more compact then? i have only riden my bike with risers and these oh and my friends kilo with bullhorns and so far i enjoy drop bars the most.

dont give up on them...
