San Diego is great for hills. I used to commute by bike from the Subase to North Park riding up Washington Street every day. I was 30 younger at the time, I wonder if I can still make the climb....

That particular hill is a ruler grade for a couple hundred yards. For a sustained average there is one hill that I ride on occasion which is an average grade of 8% over two miles.
