I'm fairly pro-corporation, but I don't know that calling not paying shop workers $9000 a year in 2014 in America, as the Chinese get, was a deliberate decision to make manufacturing here non-viable.

I honestly don't know what you want to ride, and I've never owned a Univega, so I can't say.

That said, the bike of mine that gets used the most is a 78 Schwinn Le Tour III. It is indeed heavier...
