You don't like what I have to say, so you critique my spelling/grammar.:lol:

A pneumatic tire will not effect the flexibility of a wheelset, but that isn't what I thought you were talking about.

Yes, you are correct.

They offer 14g, 15g, or a 14/15DB spoke. They might offer something new, but I don't recall anything else.

Those are likely to be my next hoops. I've built a few sets for guys your size(and bigger), and they are all very happy with the quality(build & durability). Under my weight I'm sure they would be...

Thank you. I was not trying to belittle your experience with the A23, just saying 3k miles says little about long term durability of the hoop.

what about my experience with the A23?

My opinion, based on my actual experience with the hoop, is that it's flimsy(not stiff), not what I'd call lightweight, and it's not particularly cheap. I...

I stated that the A23 is not flimsy(not stiff), and that 3k miles is not long enough to determine durability. Both of those are facts.

The facts are A23s are not a particularly stiff hoop, and 3000k miles is hardly long enough to judge a wheelset's long-term durability.

I never said they were crap, just that there are better...

FIFY

3k miles is not long enough to judge a wheelset's long-term durability. That's not even 3 months of use.

I replaced my A23 hoops after 4 months(almost 5k miles) because they were neither lightweight or stiff(or tubeless at that time), and there was noticeable brake pulse.

I had no durability issues...
