check atlbike.org, they often have impromptu silver comet rides. All sorts of different paces and lengths. I'm sure you can find someone there who's up for a ride.

I rather enjoy riding on Peachtree actually...if you're going north/northeast you usually have a ridiculous tailwind and it's fun to fly by the cars and through the traffic even though it's a modest...

with no traffic it's almost a straight shot down Ponce in less than 15-20 minutes. With traffic it can vary greatly, but it will be way more than 20. I LOVE Decatur to death(I don't live there...
