Don't forget tools. Will need bottom bracket...

Don't forget tools. Will need bottom bracket socket, possibly two if the new BB has a different spec'd cup. Possible crank arm puller. If need to replace chain, chain breaker.

Replacing the crankset, chainring, and bottom bracket will not be cheap. Lesser or greater depending on how far you want to go, especially if paying someone to do the mod. Here's the setup currently...

Seems Dahon used both the Neos, and the Tourney on this bike. And there are two versions of the Tourney, hanger mount and frame mount. It looks like this Dahon uses the frame mount.
