For my wabi I got the B17 Narrow. The B17 standard seems to be best suited for handlebars that are level or above the seat so I ruled it out for any FG bike since most have handlebars below the seat.

I've only heard positive things about the scandium lightning and from what I understand, that bike is what put wabicycles on the map. If you have an opportunity to grab one I'd definitely go for it....

That's interesting I never thought of doing wider tires. So the special accepts up to 28? Does that slow you down considerably vs the stock 23? I'm guessing the trade-off is stability vs speed...

interesting... maybe rust wasn't as big of an issue as I thought at least when the frame is concerned. I'm still curious about the whole lug vs TIG issue. Maybe modern technology and steel tubes...
