Hey folks! Michelle and I took part at a charity ride recently. It was organised by Cycling Malaysia Magazine for the Sport Toto Malaysia National Charity Foundation.

We took the train to the city with our bikes and rode for 23km around Kuala Lumpur's City Centre.. Here are some photos from our ride..



We woke up at 05:00am in the morning and spent some quality time with our kids before heading out to the train station..



Our gurl seems to be very enthusiastic because she thought she could tag along, but there were no Husky sled race in the city.. hahah!

Michelle's bike encountered a blown valve on the way back to the train station.. what a bummer!



After getting it fixed, it was time for some good coffee..



A day's hardwork, rewarded with good company and some iced coffee..



The day ended with a ride back to our nearest train station.. It was a fun day!

Great pictures. Are the Flamingos popular there?

I'd really like to get my hands on a flamingo, those bikes actually look better with the internal cable routing and extra gears for a good price!

Great pics Samo, also just wondering I know it's probably 30C+ there and see you two always use backpacks. Isn't that kinda hot for the weather? I can't do it here even when it's 20C+ cause of the heat I generate and prefer some airflow.

I really like it but wonder how much would it cost to ship this to north america. not that I "need" another bike with the wife questioning my two wheeled habit.

i see that you had your bike in a bag, is it not allowed bare on a train in KL ? as usual - very nice pics and bike diary....keep them coming. you're becoming a hard core foldie too.

Not at all, these bikes are as rare as they can get.. ahhaha!

We love our backpacks... Never leave home without them.. I guess we've got used to lugging them around with hydration bladders, we felt 'odd' not hauling them on our back..

Errm, I think you better invest on a Brompton. Its far more superior than the Flamingos..
