I've heard it pronounced "Tong-ay". Not 100% sure that's right though.

That would be the Japanese pronunciation, although really ta-n-gay....

I spoke with the Tange rep at NAHBS, and Frank already said what I was gonna say.
They kind of half-hit the "g" in the back of their throat.

I always pronounced it like the powdered orange beverage. But that's because I had no idea what was correct and don't encounter anyone speaking the word.
