Ft. Collins versus Boulder
Hi. single 30 something amateur bike racer (road), hiker just starting to look at subletting a place in CO for June and July.
Opinions on which is a better fit: Ft. Collins or Boulder?

Okay, I think that my question is way too broad. My bad.
How about this:
Is it reasonable to rent a place in Golden and be able to get to the rides out of Boulder pretty easily, that is by biking?

Welcome! Where are you coming from?
I linked this somewhere else, not sure if it was for you... anyway, here's the race calendar

you can look at the ACA site too, or usac, but sometimes not everything is on there until closer to the date.

You'll need an ACA license if you don't want to pay an extra $5 at each event (and possibly get stuck racing 5's, not sure about that). It's $25 and can be purchased at the ACA site above or the USAC site as an add-on to your license.
There are 2 weekday series - Table Mountain (Golden, 20 miles south) and Nationwide WholeFoods New Mark Merrill (Longmont, about 8 miles northeast).
