Its a Thomson seat post(probably the nicest part on the bike). ITM handle bar, 3 ttt stem, 105, mavic open pro, and new this week, look keo sprint peddals

Here's my "road bike", actually my cyclocross bike in road mode. It's a 2005 Kona Jake the Snake, in this photo with FSA RD-200 wheels, road tires, and a velo saddle to replace the stock one. I also added an Ultegra 11-21 (wish it was an 11-23) cassette so I don't spin out the 48 tooth big ring.
I'll also throw in my wifes new road bike, a 2006 Kona Lisa RD.

Mr. Fierte, that is indeed a very sweet bike, and your photography skills are killer also. Very well lit, designed, and sharp. How did you format the pictures for display here. From a guess, they are 72dpi low or mid-res versions of original 300dpi high-res versions. Are they resized?

Thank you much. The more I ride the bike the more I'm learning to appreciate it. Believe me, it's much more capable than I am. The images were shot with a 4 mp Nikon SLR. Lighting for the full size shot was done with a flash and large white umbrella and a very large window for natural light. The closeups were done with nothing more than a 100 watt bulb in a small reflector. The raw files were processed and upsized to 3008 x 2000. For web presentation I usally downsize to somewhere around 800 x whatever. I think I left the full shot of the bike at 900 x whatever. 72 dpi is what your display give you and what you view them at. When printing you usally try for somewhere between 200 and 300 dpi. DPI only comes into play when you either viewing or printing.

Is that a bead blasted matt finish, or is the Serrotta is actually painted a Titanium color (thats what it sort of looks like)

my nice bike is at home
For years I have been riding a 1983 Rossin, Columbus tubing and full Campy Super Record Grouppo. Everything works just fine, but I have recently denounced my Luddite days and will soon have a Colnago ct-1 with all sorts of fancy parts and bits.
This is my second post ever... a photo of both bikes will arrive forth with.

This is my Alan Carbon Plus that I got built up last week. It has Chorus shifters and cranks, Centaur mechs and brakes, Veloce cassette and a record chain.
Bars are Deda 215 with a Ritchey WCS stem. Seat Post is EPX carbon and Fizik Arione saddle. Pedals are Time Impact Mag. The wheels are Velocity Nuvian's, I am planning on buying something a lot lighter and and stiffer for racing.
