Interview with cyclist nearly killed by turning garbage truck

'If I could go back and change it, I wouldn't': Cyclist hit by garbage truck works to help others - CBC.ca | Metro Morning

A glimpse into the aftermath of a "non-fatal" injury. Quite a remarkable comeback.

She sounds like the right person to lead such a group. Even though I donate blood every 8 weeks, I would be the worst person to help others in such a group. Good for her being there to help and all the others that do similar.

This article made me wonder something in reference to separated bike lanes.

I started thinking about the height of the concrete dividers. Shouldn't they be as high the top of the wheels on an SUV. To keep vehicles' from accidentally jumping the curb?
