Colin ended his epic ride at 11.40 pm. He set a new record for this 2,200 km ride in a time of 4 days 17 hours 40 minutes. He broke the old record of 4 days 19 hours 50 minutes by 2 hours, 10 minutes

From what I hear RAAM is just 20 minutes of hard cycling, 20 minutes of rest (while your partner goes) for 4 hours, then you can rest, eat shower ect. for 4 hours while the other team of 2 cyclists go and repeat.
They do that for like a few days or so? Sounds harder on the crew than the riders. 1320 miles in under 5 days solo sounds a lot harder.
