Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Just a couple questions...

Just began my first fixie build up last week. It's an 80s Miyata frame (1024 I think). Ordered some Mavic CXP22's laced to Formula hubs earlier this week after reading about them on here. Anyways, the bottom bracket needs to be replaced and I was wondering if this bottom bracket: https://www.benscycle.net/index.php?m...roducts_id=656
would fit and also if it would fit these cranks: https://www.benscycle.net/index.php?m...roducts_id=528
or these: https://www.benscycle.net/index.php?m...oducts_id=3927

also if you guys had any suggestions on cranks/bottom brackets. Thanks a mill.

Search for info on the frame you have to see what type of threading is used on the BB shell. Or, you can remove the current BB & get the info off of it.

I did a little bit of research and I guess all of those Asian manufactured bikes are the English ISO threading so that should work. Thanks!

Yeah I can't wait until it's finally finished. It's cleaned up pretty nice thus far.
