Wheels stalling?

While looking around at different rims and such I saw they talk about the wheels stalling? For example "When the yaw angle goes past 15° the aero spokes work to keep the wheel from stalling, and drag stays flat." from the hed website under the three spoke clincher.

i don't believe you.

if you're not lying, it's talking about the wheel's aerodynamic properties in crosswinds. they don't mean stall in the sense of a helicopter's blades or a plane going too slow to provide sufficient lift to stay stable... they mean wheel specific physical scenarios.

but i still think you're lying. link don't just cite vaguely.

TRIPLE POST

Does it mean that the aerodynamic properties of the wheel will stall making it less aero in over 15 degrees of yaw while the H3D is more aero above 15 degree yaw?

"The optimum wind angle for the H3 is an amazing 17.5°"

this is what they're saying. not that the wheel's gonna fall out of the sky, just that it cuts through the wind the best at an angle that's higher than 15 degrees.
