Since you are not willing to accept Megan Hottman's statement, then please do show us ANYTHING that supports your claim that the cyclist was in the center or left side of the lane. The lawyer who won the case seems a reasonable source over your made up claims.

The quote above is from the OP.He appears to be paraphrasing the judge's statement.
Notice "taken the lane" not my words-
If you don't like it take it up with OP.
I assume he is giving us an honest synopsis of what the judge said.

The judge did not find the Jeffco District Attorney met their burden of proof, nor did he find that the statute as written requires a cyclist who has "taken the lane" to move to the right when a car attempts to pass him."

Lane control is the practice of a cyclist controlling a lane (also known as "using the full lane", "taking control of the lane", "taking the lane" or "claiming the lane" when traveling near the center of a marked travel lane.
Remember the JUDGE -according to OP- said he had "taken the lane"- I just assumed it is correct.
Quote from OP linked article below
This week we caught up with Gary Harty, member of TheCyclist-Lawyer.com cycling team and 20+ year cyclist, to get his thoughts and observations regarding a traffic case trial he observed on November 20, 2013. The trial involved a cyclist cited with CRS 42-4-1412(5) "bicycle rider failed to ride on right of lane when being over taken"
The "Ticket" said he wasn't "on right of lane"
I reasonably enough take that to mean -he was either middle or left.

We have an actual statement from someone who was at the trial and heard the statements made by the cop and DAs. That most certainly trumps your assumptions.
