Looking for lightweight foot brake bike
I live in a condo on the second floor, and need to carry a bike up and down the stairs. I'm looking for the lightest women's foot brake bike that's available. Either single speed or 3 speed. Cost under $600. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am not affiliated with this company, but they have a good rep. Looks like a good selection of aluminum (light) cruisers.

some people might turn it down being a walmart bike, but each time a see a woman's next lajolla (not the kent lajolla, seems odd they'd sell two bikes with the same name), i consider buying it just because of how light they are. i'm not sure if they're still sold new though.

Inglis & Retrotec Cycles | Quality Bicycles Handmade in Napa, California
Hand made in California , using expensive light weight steel tube ,
a step thru : https://www.ingliscycles.com/retro_step_through.php
so if a cruiser style bike of light weight is really what you want and are willing to pay what it costs
someone to make it un the USA, you and he can talk to each other about making a perfect bike, just for you..
if the budget is only $600, maybe a stripped down Asian made Felt will do Claire - Felt Bicycles

I'd say get a frame you like with horizontal dropouts and build a coaster wheel to fit it. It'd be so much cheaper than $600. See if there's a local co-op to help you...
