While I am relatively new, I can vouch for the Fyxation Eastside. It is slightly above your price range but it comes with many quality parts and the frame is solid. The only 2 things I have changed are the crank and the head. Both of which were better out of the box than anything you'd find on the bikes listed in your opening post. The frame also accepts up to 700x35 if you need that sort width. I should add that I'm a bigger guy too and it has been exceptional for me so far.
