My caad has pretty much the exact fit numbers, iirc it has higher stack by 2 mm, but the bars in using have 5mm more drop. I'm the one in the blue protone.

I guess so then. Not trying to challenge.

Your bud's bike is pretty slammed too. My back hurts just looking at you guys.

Slammed or not, looks like a good time right there.

This bike is definitely not slammed.

I've coasted it around the cul de sac and the fit feels real comfy. Might lower the stem a bit once I get the rest of the drivetrain installed. The flared bars feel like driving a truck.

Di2 E-Tube wires and plumbing the hydraulic lines are next. Then I can size a chain and actually ride it.

i feel the same way when i see a lot of these bikes posted...i sometimes even feel that way about my own. seeing a freestanding bike and seeing one with someone on it always messes with my head. the mr pink i just got has a 58cm top tube and i just ordered a 130mm stem for it and running 10mm of spacers. i'm all torso/arms so my bikes tend to appear aggressive, but when i'm on them the fit looks perfect.

Right. Exactly.

Looking at MM's bike I'm like no way. But looking at him actually riding in the drops it's no big deal.

my guess it that he owned the cannondale and gets the club/team clothing heavily discounted or free. you only get a matching bike on the 1/2 level, and even then it's not guaranteed.

really you just ride what you get for free/cheap. my race stuff is the cheapest stuff I own, from an 'out of pocket' perspective.

Speaking of tacky brand mixing... did some wrenching on the CAAD yesterday. Going to ride it with the Force 22 crank that I had lying around until I find the right BB30 crank. I have a spare 6800 crank, but obviously would need to install a conversion BB. Not ready to bite that bullet yet.

What BB30 crank isn't SRAM but also doesn't look like garbage or weigh considerably more? I like the Hollowgrams, but they are $$$. FSA SL-K might be the answer, but their graphics are over the top.

Rotor definitely looks the best. There have been a ton of take offs on eBay. Which model do you have?

Jakroo/Chrome. I'm technically on the team too, but I don't have time to race track anymore so I didn't buy a kit.

Oh that's nice that they're now focusing on the local as well.

Having known their prior leadership, they had their goals set way too high (worldwide) and ignored the customers that were there since the beginning.

More important for chrome than ever since they're moving to PDX from SF because they're faltering as a company and the owner has essentially had enough.

i have some of the rotor 3d+ cranks sitting on ice but im waiting on new chainrings and maybe a king bb before i install them.
i mean, you already have a cannondale so put the hollowgrams on it. me building up a specialized was the only reason i got sworks cranks in the first place.
id also never install an adapter to run an outboard bb on a pressfit frame that i ever planned on riding in the dirt. thats just asking for noise.
