non leather slr?

i'm buying the final parts for my new build, and would really like to try out an slr styled saddle. however, i'd prefer to get a product that is synthetic, instead of leather. could anyone give me some suggestions? i'm looking for something along the lines of the selle italia slr or a fizik arione.

to keep this thread on topic, please don't turn it into a leather vs. synthetic debate. also, this saddle will go on my gt gtb, so this topic is totally fixed gear related.

all fizik saddles are DEFINITELY NOT synthetic. i've heard that before. so i looked into it. if you go on their site and look at the specs, this is obviously not true. SOME of the ariones are (the ugly colors), but i'm not sure past that. but yeah, don't believe everything you hear.

the stock black arione is a combo of suede and leather, although you can get a synthetic one custom made from their website. also, everything else i've read about the selle italia says that it has a leather cover.

I ride a BBB CompDesign. Pretty much an SLR clone with steel rails, a bit more padding than an SLR, glass fiber body instead of carbon and a snthetic (I suppose) cover. One of the best-looking saddles if you ask me, pretty cheap and reasonably comfy. 220g or so. The glass fiber body is pretty flexible, so it dampens the bumps somewhat. No long-term experience, I only got it in December.

*most* Fizik saddles are synthetic such as the Arione - covered in microtex. Some saddles have leather trim, like the center strip on the *all black* Aliante. The carbon aliante and the colored ones have full microtex covers. The pave and vitesse are also leather-free

i have an slr it would take you presenting some serious documentation to prove to me that it is leather. if it is, it's from a plastic cow.
while were at it, can someone tell me where i can get new balance in synthetic?

kidding...
