uhm, these bikes show obvious signs of use (they are dirty), yet are (questionably) beautiful. hows that not beausage? maybe you're confusing beausage with beaucay (beautiful decay)
yeah i just made that part up. but what would your usage of beausage be on a bike anyway? this ugly thing?

My LeMond after the VD alleycat race in Cincinnati. Sorry the picture sucks, but the garage door has a huge wood pile in front of it, limiting access.
I did wash it and clean it up after the picture was taken...

I dig the pictures of the snow bikes, since it only snows about once a year here.

I decided to clean the IRO this weekend.
I figured I'd describe the situation, since I don't have a camera.
Winter has graced the Mark V with many a new scratch that were only visible once the salt/road grime mixture was wiped off.
The surface rust on some of the bolt heads adds a nice touch as well.

You should see the old Huffy mountainbike I converted to 26x1.5s and SS today. It's got beausage out the @ss. Bubbled powdercoat, rusty flipped Northroads, cracked brake cable housings...

On year 4 in my possession and still going strong. Yes it has 2 stems. Yes I drilled the top tube and bolted a handle into it. The sticker on the downtube was hand cut from a sheet of vinyl and says "not stolen". I lock it up everywhere for extended periods of time, leave it outside at parties and get too drunk and pass out, and it is always there when I come back. I know it ain't trendy but I love this bike. Beausage is in the eye of the beholder.

Its fast too!
EDIT: Here is my Fuji S-10-S Special Road racer fixed gear conversion in all its communting glory. I like to keep it clean so this is real wear and not just dirt. This frame is at least 30 years old and I have been riding the hell out of it for about 5 years now
