Anything going on in Denver?
I'll be in Denver a couple of times in the next month or so. I'll have a folder at the very least, but should I bring something better suited for an alley cat? I'll be there from May 18th to the 23rd, I'm not sure about the other trip yet.

Check eleventooth.com, the local courier website. They advertise any alleycats going on here.

I'm going to be in Boulder for six weeks this summer on a pedo externship. I'm planning on bringing my road bike, but i'm not sure my 48/16 fixie will rock too hard in the hills. Any thoughts GObalistik?

you shouldn't have a problem with 48x16, but I guess it depends what terrain you are used to. The altitude can take a bit of getting used to, you will feel sluggish until you get soem riding time down.
I ride a 49x16 or 46x15 which are pretty much the same. mos tof my friends have similiar gearing, and some have it a bit easier.
Let me know when you get here if you want to be informed about the races going on.
