oh what, just got mines today and just looking thru some of new pics here i'm missing a spacer on the head tube making my fork loose as found out on my test ride...ohwells off to the LBS.
and i thought the folks here was just over sensetive BUT the saddle is HORRIBLE! i couldnt believe how uncomfortable that thing is with just few minutes of riding it. the other stuff im cool with. i live with the pedals but it still needs to go. ASAP.
and i should picked up the blue one but im happy with the black one.

So updates:
Finally finished putting together and readjusting my bike to death!
Definitely glad I got the 47 instead of the 50 because even the 47 doesn't even seem to fit me well.
And one picture for now but more later.
Adjusted my bullhorns level don't worry.
Finally how in the world do I adjust my seat so it points level or even downwards?

I'm such an idiot! I did install the seat the wrong way. Reinstalled and got to a bit more comfortable level. It does stay level and seems almost perfect at this point.
On the level of seat post. I have adjusted it with a little bit more seat post. I'm on my tippy toes at this point and have can get my legs a little bit more extended. Anything further streches my legs out a bit too much and can't touch the ground which is scary because I'm just getting the hang of skids and definitely cannot track stand at the moment.
In conclusion I have a big butt and short legs but will continue to tinker and adjust and learn and hopefully have a lot of fun which I am having so far. Also to Adriano, honestly I am very happy with the fit of this bike. I don't think I have had a bike in my whole life that has fit me as well. I'm thinking it could be a bit smaller but I think it will get the job done as my Summer Commuter/Exercise for now but I'm thinking if I ever start riding at a more serious pace I'll end up finding a smaller frame.

Because everyone else is telling you to raise the seat to get proper leg extension when riding with your feet in the pedals, which will cause you to not be able to touch the ground with your butt in the saddle.
Anyone got that link with the stick figure diagrams showing proper setup? That would come in handy right now, instead of my somewhat confusing explanation.

Yeah I understand. I think once I get more of the feel of the bike(five laps around my apartment complex is definitely not going to do that) I'll adjust to get it higher. Right now I'm supposed to be writing a research report for my final so it's a bit of a no go in endlessly adjusting like I have been.
The picture is of my leg with the right crank at 6' o clock. So according to the Bike tutor video I just watched then I should raise it a little bit so that my leg is a bit straighter. Thanks for all the help guys.

sounds to me like you need another spacer or need to cut your steerer tube. Generally you would wanna push the stem down as much as possible tighten the top bolt snug tighten the sides then tighten the top the rest and the sides again. Or you can just tight the top bolt really tight at first just might make the stem alittle harder to align right.

pretty tight but ill look at it again tomorrow. the steertube comes up as must as one spacer over the stem. do you tight the headtube first then the stem or does it matter.

I think I have that right now. Got to get used to riding with foot retention as both the powerstraps I have and the toeclip and strap that comes stock are a pain to get into I think that's the next scary part to me. Also my front wheel is not true at all but doesn't interfere with the brakes so will have to wait until Friday when I'm completely off school to get it trued.

Yes it comes with very basic pedals, plastic toe clips and unknown material toe strap singles.

Thats great, thanks... I have a black 57 on the way!
So, now what can we do about getting some brakes on this thing?
Where are they cheap and plentiful?

i won't be grabbing the bottom part of the handle bars so the is out of the question. it would be waste money for me.
and the straps are (i think) nylons.

Everyone seems to have riser bars or bullhorns, is there anything wrong with the stock track drops or is it just a preference thing? Do track drops feel much different than road drops? I ride a road bike and I can't imagine not having drops.
