Building conundrum
While my IRO SE is waiting for its wheels, I am second thinking my build plan. Between my Bianchi Pista and my IRo Se, i want one set up for commuting/pea gravel, and one set up as a fast weekend rider.
The question is which one for which. Currently, my pista is stock except for velocity deep Vs (slightly damaged), Brooks saddle, and nashbar bullhorns and spd pedals.
I was planning on throwing a set of mustache bars and straps and cages on the IRO SE, but now I am having second thoughts. I have ordered a set of velocty aeros for the IRO SE and have a cane creek S6 headset, sugino rd2 cranks, welgo spds, and sugino BB.
Any suggestions as to which bike is better suited towards which role and which components should go with which bike?

Well, the Pista's geometry is more track oriented, while the IRO is slacker. If you want a go-fast TRACK bike, I'd do the Pista. If you want a go-fast ROAD fixed gear, I'd do the IRO, as it's made of nicer steel.

If you're rolling on pea gravel too often, it'd probably be nice to have some cx tires on there. And I honestly don't know if the Pista has the clearance for them.
But either way, I'd say Pista for the go fast and IRO for the commutey dealer. In my head, it makes more sense that way due to the geometry of the bikes.
