Oi! Hope you're feeling better, good to hear the hardware is coming off soon. That is a shiny, beautiful bike.

I rode my GTB up to Value Village today and when I came out (new sweater for only $4---yeah!) there were two kids, probably about 14 or so, standing and staring at my bike. I was in no rush so watched them and they were just standing there, looking it over but not touching it. I talked to them as I unlocked and one just said "That bike is so sick!" and we chatted a bit about bikes but man, it really put me in a great mood.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Running the Biopace with a fixed or ss is doable although you do need to have your chain tension set pretty close to perfect.
As an SS and now a fixed gear, I have had zero problems with the Kuwie which is my utility/winter/ and extreme weather ride.

^ ^ ^ obvious sarcasm, though it's hard to tell who he's referring to.

It is an S-Works Langster and it is available just about anywhere and it it not drilled, it is a track frame and will cost you north of $1100 for the frame/fork new. I've heard great things about them but I have never tried one out.

Got a good deal on this from my LBS about a month ago, enough upgrades to make it worth taking pictures of I figure. It is what it is but it sure is fun to ride.

I got mine on ebay, buy it now within minutes of it going up. Since then I've seen two black frames with components on them sell for less. I was pissed.

My new ride.. it was given to me for free from a buddy who bought it for his girlfriend so she could ride with him. Unfortunatly the split up so he gave me the bike so he wouldnt have to see it anymore.
I cant find much info on the web about it,but I find it stange that SE used a acera rear der. as a chain tensioner instead of horizontal dropouts.

El-Ahrairah - have you found that frame for $500? If you have, please share your wealth of knowledge, at least until they bring us country bunkins into the internet age.

Here's my latest fixie project for the winter.
Sorry about the grainy-ness. It was really cloudy.

I had straps on them, but crashed them on a different bike after my pedal broke off of an old stripped crank. The pedal that broke off had nothing wrong with its strap, but my left foot tore out of its pedal, ripping the strap. I just haven't replaced it.
