New to the forum...so here are a couple of pics
Bike porn is the best part of any forum, so I thought I'd share some on my first post
So I got my first fixed gear -- a capo (the wheels are silver btw).
and here's my mtb - Ventana SS rigid 29'er. The capo is very nice, but this one is truly awesome on the trails.
Probably the biggest surprise is how weird it feels to go from fixed to my singlespeed mtb. I seem incapable of coasting, afterwards. Like some weird muscle memory where my legs are expecting resistance and tense up. Very strange, and it takes a little while to get over it.
Edit: added some angle pics

Yeah, I don't do any commuting with it, so I was able to spend some cash without worrying about it getting stolen. I don't know how people lock up their zooty bikes without constantly worrying.

My bike isn't even that nice and I constantly worry about it getting stolen when it's locked up while i'm in my 2 hour classes or when I work.

I ride the sh*t out the Ventana, the pics are from when I just finished building it, so it was pre ride. Same thing with the Cannondale.

They are surprisingly good. Very lightweight and decent traction, considering how low profile they are. Rolling resistance is pretty good for a knobby tire. As long as you know it's limitations, I would recommend them.
