Anyone heard of a Trusty Manfg Tourmaster?
I just got this beautiful old wreck from a scrap yard, I'm gonna restore it but want to know more about it can't find any info on it. It's got nice bits all over it. weinerman brakes and a lovely Lycett racing saddle.
Can anyone help?

Tourmaster
The Trusty Company was better known for it's kids Pavemaster bikes. Their bikes were very well made and finished and I had mine for about six years during which I gave it a great deal of use.
Hope the restoration went well.

My first "racing" bike was a Tourmaster. I had it new when I was about 10 in 1963. Sadly I have no pictures of it but I remember it very well. It had an 18" frame with a curved top tube,26”wheels with steel rims, alloy bars and stem, which I think were GB, and Benelux derailleur gears which disappointingly only had a three speed block with a single cottered chainset and Weinmann brakes. The saddle was a Lycett like yours. Mine was a youths model whereas yours was the adults model and would have been similarly equipped but with 5 speed. Judging by the paint job your bike dates from the same era as mine.

The original poster hasn't posted in almost 5 years. I doubt that he would find your information very useful even if on some random chance he happened to see it. The point is that you are wasting everyone's time including yours by being stupid. Frankly, I enjoyed striknein's response.
