Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Other side of the pond.

For those who don't already know, the London FGG/SS group has been busy putting out a proper magazine regarding bicycling:

Wow, that's really well done, skimmed most of the articles, but covers a lot - from tricks to function.

bike stuff is not cheap over here if thats what you're referring too but museums and galleries are largely free apart from a few special exhibitions, any of the big museums will have stuff to keep you entertain for as long as you can concentrate. Thread about food here https://www.londonfgss.com/thread2449.html?highlight=eat. sam smith pubs are cheap. Anything else give me a pm or head over to the London site site search there and ask questions. shame you are not bringing your bike there is usually a bike thing going on most w/e.

Although I appreciate the interest in making another fixed gear magazine, I think this is a juvanile attempt. They did a good job. Design is better than COG, and they did a great job getting ads placed. Though, the articles were lame. I dont need 3 articles telling me why people ride fixed. I know why I ride fixed, I know why my friends ride fixed, and I think it lessens us to put 500 words of what fixed means to people.
